Platinum Hair Extensions Review

Hey Dawls,

Todays blog post is all about the hair! If you haven’t heard about Platinum Hair Extensions before then your in for a treat πŸ˜‰ not only are the hair extensions amazing quality but there also a great price! Thats the reason I went and trained to become a hair extensionist with this company! They really just ticked all the boxes!

Ive had them in my own hair three times and each time ive opted for the pre bonded method! They lasted for a whole 6months on the three occasions like how amazing is that? No clipping in and out the extensions everyday day!! It was just exactly what I waned because I’ve always loved long hair! Here are some pics while I had mine in.

Now im going to explain to you about each method πŸ™‚

Pre Bonded Extensions are applied with a keratin glue tip to individual sections of your own hair! This gives a life like feel to the extensions as they move just as your own hair would because there not applied in Bulk! The glue tip is in the shape of a ‘U’ and then a few strands of your own hair are put inside that you, the iron is pressed on this to melt the bond and then rolled so it totally wraps around your own hair πŸ™‚ the actual bond on the extension is whatever the extension colour is so it’s super easy to hide these extensions as they just blend seamlessly into your own hair! they are super for holding and will Definetly last you 4-6 months! You will have a few strands fall out but that’s just normal as your own hair sheds all the time but I suppose you wouldn’t take any notice yet when you have extensions in you do! There’s not a HUGE aftercare regime needed but you do have to take care of your extensions if you want to keep them and your own hair in great condition! For example, you need to take some time every week or so even if it’s just while watching tv to go through your own head and just seperate any bonds that are tangled because of your loose hair wrapping around them πŸ™‚ it honestly doesn’t take long and it’s not at all hard work but if it’s not done then that’s when the trouble starts! You could end up with matting and it will just knot ontop of knots because of not doing this small step! Treatments are fabulous too help keep the silkines of the extensions and to keep your own hair in great condition too πŸ‘Œ here’s what they look like applied .

Micro bead extension are put in using a bead and the hair is then clamped using a players with your own hair inbetween to secure the extension! Some people think that these are better for the hair condition and safer but honestly there is no difference towards the condition of your own hair! There is a bit more aftercare on this method As with using beads, they slip so will need readjusting every few weeks depending on the client πŸ™‚ you can still get 4-6 months out of the micro beads also but with touch ups! Of course you will get the same fall out with these as the pre bonded. If the hair on the client is too thin then these will not suit because they will slip a lot easier from the hair strand! Here’s what they look like applied below. The beads used come in three different colours, black brown and blonde so they may not be the exact shade of the hair and therefor are a bit harder to hide!

Platinum is based in dublins graft on street and so it only takes a day or so for my extension order to come straight to my front door! The price for a full head of these extensions are €299 and are often on special offers to help you out even more on the priceπŸ‘Œ

Here’s a few well known people in Ireland who adore there platinum extensions. Blogger Terrie McEvoy, YouTuber Dramatic Mac, Ruth Flood and Mr Cian Twomeys girlfriend Emily just to name a few!

Here are a few of the platinum extensions ive done on my own clientele in Co.Cork.
