17 Weeks Pregnant Update

Yup I’m 17 weeks closer to meeting my baby 😍…. How bizarre is that? I Nichole Corcoran, will soon have a little baby in my arms, and my own little family like jeez it’s just crazy!

How am I feeling… Well the huge plus is that I haven’t vomited like at all which I am so happy with… I have been feeling queasy and sick but haven’t actually gotten sick… A few girls contacted me through Snapchat, Facebook & Instagram who have similar due dates to ours and a few of them have said they’ve been none stop vomiting and can’t even eat 😳 the poor things, even reading it I was in bits imagining trying to work and carry on your daily routine while non stop throwing up! Some women are just troopers and I applaud you all β€οΈπŸ™ŒπŸ»

My tummy is growing and it’s so strange to see a bump and even feeling it… I can only imagine when it starts getting bigger and gets really hard! Before I got pregnant I was actually at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been… I just really could not loose it I had no motivation what so ever and I even got stretch marks because let me be real… I’ve been gaining and loosing weight since I’m younger… Constantly yo yo dieting… But never got to the size I was before pregnancy so my skin just had enough and couldn’t deal with the gaining and loosing so quickly! I was really down because of it and my weight but I’ve out all that begins me now and I’m happy with my body like hello it’s growing a human being right now and I know I will get back to being healthy when this little cutie comes along and loose it in a healthy way this time no fast fad diets! Β I’ve found I need to keep snacks with me to pick on throughout the day and a bottle of water because I get super thirsty so I try to have rice cakes in my bag at all times lol. I rest a lot more then i used to but when I’m working I don’t feel tired until I finish up which is great… So when I get home I just totally relax  😍

At 17 weeks I’ve read that baby can recognise your voice how cute is that 😍 and that between 17-22 is when mom feels babies first kicks… I’ve never been so excited to be kicked πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

My 20 week scan is coming up and were looking forward to that because it’s just another milestone Yano? All these things make it more real because I don’t know if it’s just me or is it everyone but it still doesn’t feel completely real? I don’t think it will sink in until we have our baby in our arms in 23 weeks time…. Jeez that even sounds like very little time… Honestly before I was even pregnant I always had this fear of when i would give birth in the future… I’m soooo scared πŸ˜“ right now I just haven’t been thinking about it but God Im gonna have to think about it soon so I can prepare!

My Slimming World Week 4

Hey Dawls ❀️

So I’m back to fill you in on how I got on with my week 4 on SW πŸ‘ŒπŸ» I have also been asked by a lot of you to post what I’ve been eating during the week to give you all an idea! So I’ve done just that.

Okay so since I’m weighing in now on Saturdays I have my treat that night and this week it sorta went into the whole of the Sunday too πŸ™ˆ To be honest now I didn’t binge or gorge myself but I did enjoy what I wanted which was some munchies like chocolate and taytos, non diet fizzy drinks and we went to nandos which I’ve been missing the most I have to admit! It was beyond delicious and I didnt syn anything for those two days break! Since we’re saving for a house myself and Philip have decided to totally cut back and reduce to just 2 take aways a month which is huge because we were have 2 or even more every single weekπŸ™ˆ!! And so nandos was our second take away for January πŸ™‚

Everything in moderation is always the jeyπŸ‘ŒπŸ» anyways so I kept a food diary from Monday-Friday so you could have an idea of what I was eating day to day on SW. I have it later out by the days and on each day I have Breakfast, Dinner and Snack wrote, I also wrote SP next to the last to days as those days were obviously while I was doing the stricter SP diet I was telling you about in my last post πŸ™‚ hope it helps and makes sense to you all❀️

Monday
B- 4 medallions, 2 sausages, mushrooms
D- SW spaghetti Bolognese
S- 2x plum, raw carrot, mug shot tomato & herb pasta pot (free), orange juice ice lol (3.5 syns), Triangle of toblerone (3syns) werthers originals sugar free (0.5syns)

Tuesday
B- 3 medallions, 2 sausages, mushrooms 2 slices of nimble bread (HEB)
D- SW spaghetti Bolognase
S- skinny tea, plum, Coke Zero(free), mug shot pasta(free), 2x carrots, mini milkyway(3syns),

Wednesday
B- nothing
D- SW chicken curry rice & chips(4syns)
S- chicken salad, omelette with pepper onion and tomatoes, 2 hi Fi bars(HEB), orange ice lol(3.5syns),velvet crunch(4.5syns)

Thursday SP day
B- nothing
D- wrap, 1 sausage, 2 medallions, beans, mushrooms
S- hifi Orange bar(HEB), green tea, omelette with mushroom, onion, turkey and tomatoes,

Friday SP day
B- apple
D- (HEB) bun with tuna and salad
S- x2hifi bar(HEB), 2x slices of ham, small tuna tin with salad, stir fry with chicken (no noddles),

In total this week I lost 1lb, my goal again was for a 4lb loss and I was disgusted to see I only lost a pound when I stepped on the scale but you no what? It’s still a loss and I’m still happy with it because I’m loosing πŸ™‚ I’ve also realised that if I want to have my two treat days some weeks then I’ll have to do more then 2 SP days to balance it outπŸ‘ŒπŸ» It’s all about learning what works best for your body and actually listening to it ❀️ In total I’ve now lost 8.5lbs which brings me to…. Yes Ive finally worked up the courage to share my actual weight with you all…. 207lbs! My goal weight overall is 165.5lbs so I’m trying my best to get there healthily and the right way! No more fad diets for me because they DO NOT WORK, in the long run they actually make you gain weight!

Im looking forward to sharing my next week with you all because this is really helping me along with my journey ❀️ And getting messages from you all giving me encouragement and praise and how I’m helping you just makes me so happy so thank you all ❀️❀️

My Slimming World week 2

So week one I got off to a great start and lost 3-1/2 pounds which I was thrilled with! I was so motivated by the loss and couldn’t wait to see more come off but just a few days later there was a huge tragedy in my family πŸ’” my 40 year old uncle Micheal suddenly died 😒

I have a young family and so we have never dealt with anything like this before. To say it hit us bad is an understatement and tbh were still not fully understanding or believing what’s actually happened! Of course I didn’t go back to SW and I wasn’t watching my food… I was then super busy with work because of Xmas and also crashed my new car 😑 Β and so just had no time at all to get back on my plan!

I went from the 8th of December until the 6th of January not watching my food properly or caring tbh so on the 7th I started again and fromΒ were I left of and weighed in on the wed 13th. To my suprise I was actually down 1 pound ! I was expecting to be totally over my initial weight from when I started! Hmmm it seemed to me I must have been subconsciously watching what sort of food in as eating without even knowing! Which is fantastic πŸ˜πŸ‘Œ

So all in all from my two weeks of SW im down 4-1/2 pounds altogether! Im hoping for a bigger loss this week of 4 pound though! Ive also started to exercise since I don’t have a car atm I have no other choice which is great! My legs don’t know what’s hit them lol! If you find it hard to diet then I would recommend SW because it’s not a crash diet and honestly doesn’t even feel like a diet! It’s just about making healthier choices! Fingers crossed for that loss for Wednesday coming πŸ™ˆ!!

My Slimming World Week 1

Hey dawls πŸ™‚

So last week was my first week starting slimming world πŸ™‚ I went on the Wednesday and I was just back from Vegas the sat before! Before I went to Vegas I was like ‘Okay Im going to enjoy my holiday now, eat what I want and then when i get back I am joining slimming world’ and so I stuck to it πŸ™‚ I could have been rolled off the plane I ate so much over there but I enjoyed every minute of it!

I want to do a blog on my experience so hopefully it will help motivate others who felt like I did and need to get started! Its only been one week and so for that reason im obviously just still not comfortable telling EVERYONE my starting weight YET…. but I will I promise after a few weeks when I get rid of some lol! Lets just say for now that this is the heaviest I have EVER been and I am just completely allergic to how my body looks right now and the way I feel 😦 its not a nice feeling!

My slimming world plan was basically I could eat up to 15 syns everyday and foods such as eggs, lean meat and pasta are completely free so you can eat what you like of them. I found the plan really strange because i didn’t feel like I was actually on a diet because I wasn’t super restricted like all the other diets ive tried and FAILED! I think I stuck to the diet properly for 2-3 days at the most! I had four star, sausage rolls, jalapeno cheese bites, chips and rubbish lol but i didn’t over do them like I normally would! Yet when I went to get weighed in after the week I was down 3-1/2 pounds! I was delighted with myself and it made me want to do even better this time because I knew it was beyond do-able! I wasn’t even after exercising so I think there’s just so much room for improvement with this plan!

Now of course im not telling you to not stick to it 100%, im just trying to explain that usually if i break out then i totally give up on the whole diet… but the fact i knew i was gonna have to go back to the group to get weighed in, I just jumped back onto the bandwagon and was a lot better the day after to make up for it jano? Im hoping to stick with a 3 pound loss every week so far and to be honestΒ once im making a loss that’s all that matters because its a step in the right direction πŸ˜‰
